Posters

A dream job would be to design create posters that would be pasted up on the streets like they used to but I don’t think that really exists around here anymore. Maybe in Europe. These are various posters I have created for friends and clients in the past. 



Fundraising Dinner for Lupita Hernandez

I’m not a big “car enthusiast” but I learned a lot illustrating and designing these posters for a friend’s fundraising dinner. It is good to challenge yourself by creating work with a subject matter outside of your wheelhouse (pun intended) from time to time. A fresh perspective, a new skill, inspiration for another project...who knows what will happen after you try something new.

Athletic Posters for North Salinas High School

The Athletic Director of NSHS asked me to create some nicer posters for the athletics department. The posters were 24” x 36” and we sold advertising space on these posters as a fundraiser for the programs. The posters were distributed around town to local businesses. I would pick a theme for the year and create a poster for each sports season. Now that I reflect on it, I’m not sure how I managed to teach full-time, do all of the grading and planning, and create three of these a year. Below are a selection of the posters I created.
